This guided tour will give you an overview of the biological and cultural development of mankind from the early hunter-gatherer communities to the first farmers and cattle breeders of the Neolithic Age. We show the major developmental steps of human evolution and explore how our ancestors lived. We discuss what our ancestors ate and whether they had language, complex tools and the ability to express themselves artistically. We also learn the methods scientists use to arrive at their findings.
The dialogue-based tour visits selected stations of the permanent exhibition and is supported by handouts. A wireless microphone with accompanying wireless headphones is used for better comprehensibility. We are also happy to cater to your specific wishes. Please let us know at the time of booking. The tour is also available in English and French for a small surcharge.
