This guided tour will give you an overview of the biological and cultural development of mankind from the early hunter-gatherer communities to the first farmers and cattle breeders of the Neolithic Age. We show the major developmental steps of human evolution and explore the questions of how our ancestors lived, what they ate, whether they already had language, tools or artistic expression and what methods scientists used to arrive at their findings.
The dialogical tour visits selected stations of the permanent exhibition and is supported by handouts. A wireless microphone with accompanying wireless headphones is used for better comprehensibility. We are also happy to accommodate your specific wishes. Please let us know at the time of booking. The tour is also available in English and French for a small surcharge.
