Discover the Neandertal in a very special way: go on an archaeological treasure hunt with GPS devices - along the Düssel, through the adjacent nature reserve and to the famous Neanderthal site. Solve Stone Age puzzles and find treasures that not only the Neanderthals would have enjoyed. Back at the museum, you will embark on a journey through human history - from the beginnings in the African savannahs more than four million years ago to the present day.

Procedure

‘Stone Age with GPS’ includes an introduction to the use of GPS devices, cache search in the Neandertal, admission to the museum and a guided tour of the permanent exhibition.
