The Neanderthal Society is an excellent example of the power of public involvement. The Society promotes research projects in the field of archaeology and anthropology, supports young, aspiring scientists and researchers, and fosters Neanderthal cultural heritage both nationally and internationally. The Neanderthal Society offers a variety of memberships for individuals, couples, families, children and students, and companies. Membership brings many advantages and members receive free admission to:

• the permanent exhibition
• special exhibitions
• lectures, symposia, evening events, and museum festivities

Members receive invitations to all special exhibitions and can take part in exclusive guided tours. They enjoy opportunities to have direct access to scientific staff. On the museum's Research Day, they can learn, firsthand, more about the Neanderthal Museum's projects and have the chance to ask any questions they might have.
